Hey guys!  I am calling for help from all of my watchers and fans!  I have made it to the Quarterfinalist round of the Amazon.com Breakthrough Novel Contest for the Young Adult Category.  Out of 5000 initial entries I am in the top 250 for the Young Adult books.

You can check it out and if you want to support me I have listed below the link for my excerpt which is free for anyone who has an amazon.com account.  It says it is a kindle format but you don't need a kindle to download it.  Amazon offers free Kindle for PC or Mac software that lets you read book excerpt on your computer.  All you have to do is download the kindle software and then purchase *for free, my excerpt and then submit a review!  I need lots of good reviews, so I hope I can count on all of you to at least check out the contest site and my excerpt!

For any of you who might be wondering just what my book is about, i have added a brief description below

The Amulet of Osiris is a dark Young Adult genre story spanning many centuries and different continents.  On its way from the Egyptian sands to a quaint Boston suburb it weaves a trail of lust, murder, terror and greed. The only light in the dark skies is a strange love story. This love has to find a way to overcome the darkness or it will rule forever.
  Seventeen year old Emma, newly moved to an old Victorian suburb of Boston, finds herself attracted to a mansion and its ghost occupant, Richard. The first time she laid eyes on him, Emma thought he was made of stardust and moonbeams. Richard tells her the secret of the Amulet of Osiris, which for more than two thousand years has driven men to kill and has the power over life and death.
They are not the only ones who know the secret.  The ghost of Richard's murderer, Edgar Craven, also knows of its power.  Emma and Richard have to find a way to keep the amulet safe and release Richard from his ghostly prison.
  Emma enlists the help of her new friend Cassie Banks. As they try to find a way to release Richard' soul, Edgar hounds them every step of the way. To complicate the matters, Emma has to fight off the attentions of Jeremy, the high school golden boy.  The line between friends and enemies is blurring fast and Emma must release Richard and contain the amulet's power before it is too late.
As Halloween creeps in, Edgar releases an ancient evil that could destroy the world. Now it is up to Richard and Emma to stop it from covering the world in darkness.  Will Richard's soul pass on forever or is Emma's love strong enough to change his destiny?
